We are the second locally owned band instrument repair shop in Horry County! Conveniently located in Longs, SC, we currently operate exclusively by appointment for all repair services. We work on a wide variety of brass and woodwind instruments, and we have plans to expand our services to string instruments. Woodwind repair is dedicated to the maintenance and restoration of woodwind instruments such as flutes, clarinets, saxophones, oboes, and bassoons. The most frequent issues these instruments face include leaks, which can affect sound quality, key malfunctions that hinder playability, and worn-out pads that can lead to further complications.

Current hourly rate is $50. All prices are estimates and subject to change depending on the assessment of your instrument.

Brass instrument repair involves restoring and enhancing the performance of instruments such as trumpets, trombones, tubas, and French horns.
Key services include dent removal, valve and slide alignments, and the cleaning and oiling of moving parts to optimize performance. For instruments with severe wear or damage, replacement of parts may be necessary; this includes valves, lead pipes, and tuning slides.
Additionally, soldering techniques can be employed to fix broken braces or joints.
